Quick Tips for Blog Post Writing for Therapists

  • After you determine your niche, identify 10-20 “long tail keyword” phrases that your ideal clients are searching for. (We’re developing a great resource for this…stay tuned…)
  • Use your keywords when writing your website copy
  • Write at least 1 blog post per keyword phrase.  Schedule them to publish automatically spread out throughout the year.
  • Text should be skimmable
  • Use Bullet points and lists (learn how to do bullet points the right way)
  • White Space
  • Paragraphs – expand our ideas and information in blog posts
  • Incorporate Links – Internal (links to another page within your website) and External (link to outside resources/references)
  • Use whatever your potential clients are using.
