Telepractice has exploded in popularity since the pandemic – it offers excellent options for staying connected with clients while working from home, saving commute time, reducing sick days.  I’ve been doing telepractice since 2014, and back there there were not a lot of options (which is why I started this FB group)

Why try these telepractice sites?

So many decisions come down to….. Which do you have more of? Time or Money?  Providing quality speech therapy online requires a significant amount of prep time so that you can seamlessly flow between activities (TIP: always plan for 2-3 more activities than you think you’ll have time for. This way, if one flops, you smoothly flow to the next one.  If you don’t get to them all, just save for the next session)

Below is an overview of options.

Here’s my recommendation for how to choose:

  • Consider your primary clients – age group, goals.
  • Identify your needs –  Games/reinforcers?  Treatment materials?  Data Collection? Where do you need to save time and increase quality?
  • Most of these options have a free trial – take advantage and TRY THEM OUT!
