Play on Speech provides in home and online speech and feeding therapy services. We specialize in speech sound disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation delays, phonological disorders, stuttering, language delays, and feeding and swallowing disorders.
Tania Rife, MA, CCC-SLP opened Play on Speech in 2011 in order to provide families with high quality in home speech and feeding therapy services. She graduated with a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007 from the University of North Texas. Tania is licensed by the state of Colorado in Speech-Language Pathology and has her Certified Clinical Competency from ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association). She is PROMPT trained, and holds a certification in Vital Stim. Tania has also been the recipient of the ACE award through ASHA for continuing education. She has over 12 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist and specializes in pediatric feeding therapy.
We currently are accepting private pay clients, Colorado Medicaid, Tricare, and Colorado Access (CHP+) at this time.

However, please understand that due to our wide range of service areas, we may not be able to accommodate your specific requested time due to required drive time.     Q Do you provide speech screenings?

    Yes, we do! We offer 15 minute online speech screenings through our online Telepractice department. The purpose of a screening is to find out if there are areas of concern that need evaluation. If an evaluation is not found to be necessary, therapists will give parents and/or teachers suggestions to work with the child to address areas of concern. Sometimes therapists will suggest a re-screening in the future.

    Q Do you provide Teletherapy speech therapy services?

    Q What are the benefits of speech therapy Teletherapy?

    Students today use computers as part of their learning process, so the transition to receiving therapy on a computer is not a big adjustment. Because the therapy session is live and highly individualized, the benefits are even greater. As an added perk, sessions can be recorded and replayed for the student/parents/legal guardians providing opportunities for review, practice, feedback, and carry-over outside of the school environment.

    It’s fun, interactive, and allows kids to bond and forget about their worries.
    It allows easy assessment and analysis of progress in terms of speech and other social aspects such as ease of interaction.
