Christine Yarin is an experienced speech language pathologist, specializing in evaluating and treating children of all ages and abilities. Christine has extensive experience working with children diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and in providing early intervention services.
Christine is trained by the PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Musculature Phonetic Targets) Institute in both Introduction to PROMPT Technique and Bridging PROMPT Technique to Intervention. She has extensive knowledge and experience treating children diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and is verified by Apraxia Kids as an approved provider in the evaluation and treatment of children diagnosed with CAS. In addition, Christine is certified by The Hanen Centre in the It Takes Two to Talk program, empowering parents to become an active participant in their child’s intervention and therapy regimen.
Christine believes that therapy should be a fun, engaging, and positive experience. She works to uncover each child’s individual interests and learning style in order to target skills in a motivating way. Every child deserves to communicate confidently and Christine is passionate about helping children of all ages achieve their communication goals.
